The play of mid-morning light on the shallows of a tropical lagoon, expressed in the enigmatic marine hues of boulder opal. The diffuse glow of a beach sunset, to be found in the intricate arrangement of kunzite, diamonds and multi-coloured sapphires.

Coveted for millennia for their extraordinary organic beauty, pearls are integral to many of Margot’s most spectacular creations. Large, bold and lustrous, these beguiling jewels of the tropical seas are often complemented with colourful gemstones as the centrepiece of an arrangement.

With boundless patience and commitment to her design vision, Margot often spends a decade or more curating the perfect collection of gems for a single bespoke piece. Her hands-on approach extends to every aspect of her work, from personally selecting gems to collaborating directly with her Australian pearl farmer and world-leading gem miners and cutters.
